For sure, we definately tested the heck outta yours. I had to come up with something as I was sliding down on my wimpy *** plastic fuel tank coming down the rapids. I'm finding the locker just allows me to put myself in places I should'nt be on 3"s and 31"s, Lol. Solution armor and beefing stuff up til I can afford to get her a little further off the ground. For the record, my sliders are worth their weight in gold, I've had guys at work coming up to me all week asking "Dude what the hell were you doing to your Jeep last weekend to do that to those", they're no longer pretty, but I'm glad to report they have no bends. I've told more than one person, "If my Jeep was a wife, she woulda left me after last weekend", Lol! No woman would put up with that much abuse. I beat the crap out of her, but man I had fun!

Hearing you messed some stuff up too makes me feel a little better Zach. Not celebrating your breakage by any means, just reminds me that we were wheeling pretty hard. Good times!

So what are you guys with 35's or bigger running as far as brakes go? stock, aftermarket? ever since my 35's i have had hard time stopping on down slopes on the trails. I have duralast rotors and pads up front, along with disc conversion in the rear (duralast as well), and a proportioning valve from a zj with discs. Bled it thoroughly. Its scary when you cant stop very good coming off of strait slopes

Is this still a go? Lets hammer out some times and meeting places soon so we can get an idea on attendance. Hit the road out of SLC at about 9am? I should be a go on this trip (July 10th)

Steve, this is your party, any ideas on a backup run should Providence still be flooded out?

we can always go a different way. we can go up left hand in Hyrum and go to 4 corners, then up to mount Logan. Then go down prov to the quarry and then back up and out logan canyon our out Hyrum. problem with this is in some of the shaded area's there is going to be snow most likly so it may not be passable, and I think you guys would be a little pissed to drive from SLC to go on a dirt road to find out we cannot pass to get into prov and the rocks.
I am being told that that they are going to start on the clean up after the 4th. I will run up there a couple days before and see.
If we still want to go then I would say leave macey's at around 11:30 or 12:00 that way you guys don't have to wake up supper early.
let me know what you guy's are thinking I am down for what ever.

Personally, I dont care what we run, its all about getting out and having fun. And, for the record, I'm up early anyway, Lol!

I've done some wheeling up that way years ago when I had my wrangler, it's just been too long to remember exactly where. I want to say we shot up Logan canyon, went over the hill and came out into the canyon that leads back into Nibley. Nothing extreme by any means but fun! I look forward to getting back up there.
