Quick FYI for all you guys who's e-brake doesn't really work. My buddy told me about a trick to get the rear drums to auto adjust. While going in reverse, hold the ebrake button down and pull the handle up and down a bunch of times til you fell the ebrake start to engage. It worked on mine and my brakes work a lot better now all around!!

Ya that works great! when I did my state IM the brake test showed I was using my rear brakes a lot more than the front so I'm gonna replace the front calipers after josh told me he only paid like $20 after the core for each!!! (checkers I think???)

Yeh, the 8.25's came with 3.55's in some. It depends on the vehicle though. If its out of a 4.0 auto it should have 3.55, but not always!

I was saving this for myself, but I think it'll be a while before I can do it so here you go:

Do you know if the drive line U-joint matches up from the D35 to the 8.25?

their should be an axle id plate bolted to the diff cover and that will tell you the gear ratio, mt old 8.25 was 3.71 and the 44 i have under there now is the same and my yoke matches the u-joints just fine
