LOL!
Crazy flex! Attached Thumbnails
Awesome! How much lift does he have on there? Nice pics Guys... Little Moab looks like a really awesome place with some pretty intense stuff! I also really like your rig X1994J! I don't know what it is but between the color, bumper, lift and flares that's one sweet looking XJ! Also congrats on winning Cherokee of the month
Where should we put together our next run? Somewhere its above freezing, this weeks been brutal! A couple guys from work are familier with the Grand rafael swell, ones a Granola whos gonna loan me a book, the other used to run his baja down there, says he can point out some good trails that might suit what we wanna do. I'll let you all know what I find out.
Yeah that would be awesome to run somewhere it's a bit warmer... its been friggen bitter around here this week. Normally I would suggest coming here to Moab but now there is a foot of snow on the ground. If you guys hit San Rafael Swell I will definitely be there since it's pretty close to me and I have been really wanting to check out that area. Although they may have almost as much snow there as here which may make it kinda tough unless were thinking of trails on the easier side. Also if you are looking for info on that area you may want to talk to Randy "IntrepidXJ" he has spent a lot of time in and around there.

Ya I'm gonna wait tell I get my bumpers, winch, slidder, & cage! Can't wait tell xmass!
Sounds like you got some big plans there built! Which bumpers and cage are you getting?

There is awesome scenery, and some sweet trails down there. We spent 3 days and two nights and didn't see everything, not even close.

I know the area enough to get around, there are some great maps available, along with a GPS you'll be fine. The most difficult trail "The Devil's Racetrack" we didnt get to do. There was a break down at the beginning and we turned back. We should plan a trip and hit that trail and some of the others for sure.

Thanks man. It should look pretty different when it's done. No fender flares, pre-runner front fenders, 7 more inches of wheel base, lower, wider, comp cut, 37's, should be sweet! We'll see. I want to have it driving by the end of January.

I was just looking up some pics and vids of that trail and it looks like a blast! Any idea on how hard it actually is? I would definitely be in for a run in that area!

The last time I actually ran it was probably 5 years ago on a four wheeler. I remember it being pretty difficult on a four wheeler, lots of ledges.

Yeah thats what my buddy at work told me, he and his brother were running bajas and had a difficult time with the ledges. Sounds like the swell might be a good place for a get together.

Yep that sounds about right... its really close to me The eastern side of it is about 15 minutes beyond Green River. After that it depends where in the swell you want to go as far as distance. Here is a map of the general area and a site that tells some stuff about it.
http://www.sanrafaelswell.org/whereis/whereis.php
According to that site it is only 155 miles south of SLC... that doesn't seem right though.

So what's the time line we are looking at going? Cause the trip down to san rafael is only what 30 miles shorter than moab!?!? I'd rather wait tell summer, & do like a 3-5 day trip to moab & hit the swell on the way back!
