Well after a long and hard debate with myself I am no longer going to be rocking a XJ. After getting so far in this project seeing all the rust, holes in the floor and not being able to close my doors any longer I was about ready to go big and start throwing money at it but then it dawned on me WTF am I doing??? And yes I am not ever gonna go OHV this Jeep has had it's day I am jumping off the XJ bandwagon and going back to my Off-Road root's

I picked up a stock 1994 tonight for a hell of a deal!!!
It has the 351 V8 4 speed auto and I can actually build a cage in it I won't hit my head on enough room for 3 kids and 2 dog's and i'm not gonna cut it up at all..... well not as bad as my XJ lol

Well i finally welded the tubes on the 60 tonight. My torch bottles are empty so i used by benzomatic torch instead, it worked surprisingly well. Preheated it, welded 1" strips, then post heated and peened. No cracks whatsoever, sucked doing this 4 times since my 60 has the stupid CAD section. Welds look pretty good, disregard all the marks from me peening it while it was cooling.
