Ran Rattlesnake with some friends this morning...

Scott's wife throwing his XJ through the rocks. She did a great job, and Scott did the spotting...

My buddy Gerry drove his 2003 Montero through Rattlesnake, with a little rubbing on the plastic running boards. Expect those to be gone soon with some real sliders and other armor... Though he did take the easy way through everywhere he could.

Three years ago was the first time I ran Rattlesnake, when the ZJ was still stock height and on 31s. I said then, 31s and 2" and some armor would be all I need. Didn't touch anything, even taking some tougher lines. Still need some armor though.

Fun time, no carnage, and running it again in the morning with some others.

We were just exiting poison spider mesa after; getting lost (2 hours), donkey got a flat (side wall damage), & slamming/dragging my sliders down the "V notch"! Just before reaching the golden spike we met some yota guys that had been on the gold bar to golden spike for about 8 hours, it being 6:30pm we turned back & went back through 3/4 of golden spike & out poison spider in the dark!!! Lol thank god we replace donkeypunch's LF U-joint the night before at camp... The yota guys thought they were cool, cause we were folowing them out tell they got lost, & had to ask us to lead the way! Lol
Donkey was singing anything you can do my jeep can do beter, I CAN DO ANYTHING BETER THAN YOU... thewhole way home! Lol

Jealous, i did'nt get mine out this weekend. I decided to spend the time getting my lights hooked up. I also got around to locating my exhaust leak (did'nt bother looking before because I knew what it was), sure enough my exhaust manifolds cracked at the collector, I'm not looking forward to that repair.

Ran Rattlesnake again this morning with the Utah 4x4 Club folks. Neat to have new guys out and about...

I got pics! My daughter went a little nuts with the camera, but I finally got through them all!! But sure was a good time. Fun watching Matt hammer his Blazer up Wayne's World, and watching Kevin in his XJ walk right up...

All the pics I posted (about a third of them...) are in my photobucket...

We didn't let the Trooper get hurt either... Hope to see you out again...

235s and didn't air down! And no, there wasn't mud at Rattlesnake...

It was that very rock that made me decide what I intended to do with my ZJ... And its nothing to me now... Even taking a few tougher lines than I would have before.

I must be crazy, I let my daughter drive some too! Seriously, she had a good time and did just fine on the couple obstacles she hit...
