This might be a silly question to you guys who know more than I, but who makes those & how do they mount? I'm assuming you retain the stock snubbers as well, or am I incorrect in my thinking?

yes you keep the upper stub part. They just sit inside the coil. some people let them free float, others mount them on 1.5" all thread or tube and just set them over it, because it fits snug on 1.5" tube from what I have read. I have not decided how I'll mount mine...
