more than likely your no heat issue is a air bubble stuck in the heater core, turn the heat on and open the radiator cap and let it bleed the air out some more. watch the temp gauge while doing this so that you don't overheat the engine due to having the cap off

Well she over heated again yesterday after taking her for a little test drive around the neighborhood, I'm starting to think that my water pump is bad and it isn't circulating coolant correctly. Any ideas?

Cant wait to see the vids, iv spent more time on youtube than I have on the trails haha. How were the water levels? If they arent to high Im tempted to take the xj offroad for the first time. When I had the yj I took it out there and crossing a creek the water was several ft deep!

worst case, if we get to a part where you aren't comfortable doing with it stock, you can always jump in with someone else. the biggest thing for you will be flex, id recommend that you disconnect the sway bars.

Thanks for the reply. Im going to find a pair of sway bar discos, cant I remove the rear sway bar entirely? Keeping the xj stock for now, waiting on a reply to pick up some honeycomb wheels and then il get some meaty tires mounted up. Nows the time to wheel, hasnt rained and its not blazing hot for once!
