I know how you feel, my whole transmission decided to kill itself right after I just got my Jeep running again. I am going to rebuild my transmission just because I bought a used one once and its already gone out(had it for about 7-8 months) but I would def look at craigslist like suggested already

does anyone know what all it takes to do the 2wd to 4wd swap.. since it looks like i have to replace it anyways i may try and go the 4wd route. and yes im about to do a search..

You need a 4wd tranny, transfer case, front axle, front shaft, different rear shaft, all the linkages for the tc. And since you have to pull the front axle you may as well do a lift at the same time and a sye because you will have the transfer case out of the jeep
