Good size hole on passenger side front, small one on pass rear. Small one on drivers side. I've been pricing replacement pans vs getting a sheet of 18ga and making my own. More work the other way but I have the tools for it.

Like the one time I ever rode in that thing I was scared that the whole floor was just gonna crumble. It was fun to watch the street under my fee though hahaha(:

If the replacement pans arent to much go for it otherwise if you want to go the cheaper route and/or you dont care if it looks perfect just cut out the rusty metal and weld in new metal. A friend of mine cut out most of his driver side floor board that was rusted out and bent a new piece of sheet metal and welded it in. You would never notice if you bedline the floors or put the carpet back in.

I hate welding thin metal! You just have to go really slow and jump around with tacks and it all has to be tacked. I did a bad job on mine and will eventually redo it

I worked in a body shop for years but as a painter. I've replaced a few door skins and quarter panels on side jobs. Never done any floor pans. I've been thinking about using panel adhesive. I know it's the trend in body shops now since its quicker and stronger. I'm just not looking forward to removing and re installing the interior.

What do you guys recommend for CB antenna setups? Might pick a CB up here before the weekend, but not sure what kind of antenna to get. Also does someone have a tuner?

Also, what all do I need?

Radio
Coax
Spring
Some sort of mount
Antenna
What else?

I'd do a firestick, prob like 4ft max. And other than that list you'll need a mic if the radio doesn't come with one and that's it. And I don't have a tuner but most of us haven't had to tune ours.

This place has a good selection of new cb's and antennas. I bought one from them with a magnetic antenna. They have all the equipment to set it up or tune it for you. I just wired mine up and was good to go.

Almost all of us have then mounted to the rear bumper using a mirror mount. I think Logan had his at the tail light an then moved it. He may or may not still have the antenna mount.

I prefer my Francis, just because it isn't as heavy as the firestik so it doesn't blow around in the wind as much

I plan to go with an HD spring to prevent blowing around. I'm not a patient person and want to have this set up for the weekend.. so I need to stick to stuff that's local or on amazon.

Any preference between the Cobra19 or Uniden's equivalent? I can get the cobra for 37 bucks brand new to my door.

Whatever works, works. I went with a uniden bearcat but If I could go back and get the cobra in order to save $70 I would have.
