Default N00b needs help

Hey folks. I recently bought my first XJ. 96 Sport with 220k miles. It's in pretty good shape but of course I've got the bug. Looking for someone to help a new useless guy with getting things squared away and upgraded. Don't have a clue what I'm doing mechanically though I have replaced the blower, resistor pack, windshield wiper motor, and radio (someone made a freaking mess of the wiring).
If anyone is interested in helping me kit out this truck over the next year or so let me know.
I'm good with electronics/electricity as I have 30 years experience as an engineer designing and repairing medical equipment like X-Ray and MRI.

First project is figuring out what's wrong with or replacing clutch and flushing/replacing radiator.
Of course beers on me for the assist.

Thanks Straightsix. I figure I'll need to rent space at DIYgarage in Olathe at some point unless there's a better option.

Took a few hrs. Had to modify the new pan a bit to fit correctly. But it's all welded in, and seam sealed. I need to patch in a few more spots then I am going to put in a spray in bed liner.
