Was gonna but i gotta rebuild my front end and get new tires cuz my bearings tie rods ball joints and brakes are all wore out, 177k miles on them and no ones ever gave good maintenance to them, and my tires are wore out on the front.

Ugh that sucks. I've been cramming in a ton of work on my jeep this past week just so I can go. I had to get my power steering fixed, change oil, hook up some odd ball stuff, and get it inspected. It's been a crazy week cause I work and go to school so it's been busy. I wanted new tires cause my 35s are wearing weird but 35s are hard to come by :/

Yeah, I had to go the online route...life of a family man is too hectic to spend that much time in class. On the other hand trying to get anything done at home with a 3 & 4 year old running around is quite the challenge itself...

I could see how that would be challenging lol I only go to school twice a week but all the other days I work almost 40 hours a week so finding time to work on my jeep is kind of a trick.

Yeah, I put in 40-45 hours a week, plus a wife n kids that seem to think they need my attention, pfft. Online classes was the only way I'd have time to do anything but be a zombie. I guess I'm lucky though, the wife likes 'working' on the jeep with me, so that helps...

Yea that does help lol it sucks to be with someone who doesn't really help or support it. Have you both been wheeling?

I wish. Didn't have my 1st jeep long enough to lift it before it got wrecked, working on lifting the new one now. Don't really know anywhere to go yet, not sure I'd want to take the stock XJ out considering the suspension is pretty sad and saggy. But she does WANT to go, just gotta get my rig where I feel comfortable with taking it out and learning the hard knocks of wheeling...

Well the first place I went wheeling was at Kansas rocks, which is about two hours from lees summit, and I think your stock xj would do just fine but I understand not being comfortable with it. There are a couple places around but not anything less then two hours away that I know of unfortunately...
