My compliments on the bumper. It is one of the best designs I've seen. I'll definitely be giving Brian a call one of these days.

Anybody know about the Skyjacker softride xj lifts? Are they like OME lifts where you get more actual lift than avertised? I just got an almost new 3" lift with rear leafs and Im going to put it on today or tomorrow. Currently I have a budget 3" lift and m not sure if I want to use the coil spacer with the new springs, cut it down some, or just use thenew springs. Thoughts...

I have never heard of that lift before. How much lift do you want is the big question? I would throw in the new springs and leafs and see where your sitting. Then you can decided how much, if any spacer height you want and level out the rear.

How did you do the frame mounts on that bumper craw? I have been doing a lot of reading, and I was going to open up the frame rails and slide in some 2x4". But do you think that a flat piece with a gusset ( basically angle iron) would work just as well?

2x4 is to big you need the stay square

I did see a lot of people have used 2x4 rather than the square we used... what difference does it make?

You know how hard of a time we had sliding it over the hump with 2x2 it would have been a lot worse. Some things afe better to leave slop in it

Put the skyjacker leaf packs on. Holy crap! Advertised at 4", it's easily 6" of lift. Waiting on a trac bar and I'll have the front lifted to match. I'll post pics tomorrow.
