Hmm. That seems random. Only thing I can think of is possibly the DS's were binding if your drivelines weren't kosher...
Sucky man. Just make sure your angles are all good when you slap a new one on so hopefully is doesn't happen again. You found a TC yet?

So I've done most of the repairs I dare try solo. Blower and wiper motor, radio, valve cover gasket, oil pressure sending unit, and dash bulbs.
5 speed transmission which won't shift well. I assume it's not disengaging very well and needs master/slave. Looks like some one Jimmy rigged a mounting braket for the master and I'm a bit nervous trying to tackle this job.
Anyone have a mechanic recommendation?

Anyone need a set of shocks for a 4.5" lift? I ordered a set of Zone Nitro shocks for my jeep, and they ran my order twice, billed me twice, and sent me two sets of shocks. I'm going to lose money if I have to send them back, I have to pay to ship them and they're going to charge me a 10% restocking fee...not real pleased with their customer service right now. Anyways, they cost me $180 for the set (front & rear) shipped. Let me know if anyone is interested...

Just saw this thread. I have a noise problem, it makes me wonder if its rod knocking or just loose nut/bolt somewhere.
