there again it takes knowing your rig and your abilities. I have always thought new wheelers should do a "ride along" their first time out so they can learn the ropes, and, if I'm around the right way to pull someone out as I usually am good for getting stuck once or twice
Oh well, gotta go back out and do some more work on the beast, now the trailer has plates I need to get it ready to go play! First thing is figuring out whats up with the brakes. I fixed the broken line but still don't have much brake at all and thinking the line broke at another location.
I just fixed the rear brakes on my tow vehicle and that was $360 for everything. A seal blew dumping axle grease all over the drivers side brake pads. changed pads, bearings and seals.....what a PIA! And it's no fun having no brakes and 6,000lbs of firewood on the trailer.
Also, anyone looking for a trailer I have three I'm selling listed in the 4 sale section.

I doubt I'll make it that weekend. Before I go hauling it anywhere I will spend a day at a friends checking things out.....it's close to home if I break anything I haven't run it since last August so it needs a bit of beating on first. And I may need to replace the rearend and shorten a driveshaft. Today when I moved it around to the shop besides bad breaks it had a noise in the rearend and the pinion is loose again. The center won't come out so i have would have to replace the entire housing and if I do that i may as well ad a bastard pack too and get the backend up with the front.
after checkig the brakes I can't find anything obvious so it may just need the brakes bled again. The pads are all good so thats all I can think of.
now to find a rearend for this thing....gonna get one just in case.

Yup.... I know Pic a Part and Pull a Part both have a bunch of them but without a torch it's a major PIA to pull them.
Got another issue too, found today that I have a cracked coil onn my Dodge 2500HD. Need to replace plug wires and cap and rotor too. They never have been replaced in 158,000 miles. It just started running crappy the other day and thats why. Oh well, more money I don't have! Someone should buy those trailers.....

At this point I won't have $1 till a week from Friday. I'm so broke I can't pay attention! I'm even out of smokes..... and Cokes! Now if someone bought a trailer or two off me I'd be OK.
