Better make that 3/4 " drop. My bumper is 3/4 x 11" hrs bar! Real heavy. I had to hang it on there with my cherry picker! Lol

Ive looked at about a thousand pics online of rigs with the rustys 8.5 coil and its real deceving. Some look normal and some look like Bigfoot. I dont want a Bigfoot, just room to be really flexy.

Sounds like you're scared to cut fenders... Lol I have 5.5" with 33s. Even with RE extreme flex short arms I can out crawl guys on 6.5"+ it's all in suspension geometry. I had a buddy who had a custom 5" long arm ZJ that would score upper 800s on a 20* RTI. Which is better than a majority of rigs over 7". That added 2" makes a HUGE difference when it comes to center of gravity that's not really necessary in my opinion. If I were to run 37s I'd cut a little more and add maybe .5"

Im about as well trimmed as I can go. Beyond pinch welds and re welded. Im doing a custom 3 link and wanted to eliminate my spacer and spring setup for just a spring. And i went to order the 6.5 spring and it was more than the 9 " spring. So I thought maybe time for 35's. I do well now but theres always room for improvement, heck I could just add the arms I made to my spring/spacer setup I have and see how it works. But as trimmed as i am my 33"s flex up in quite tight when im turned.

Being an MJ, custom rear wells would be far easier than an XJ. :P mine are cut about an 1" past the pinch weld. I just threw some 16 gauge sheet metal in there along the curves of where I cut. Not too difficult. If you built your own CAs that would be an easy undertaking.

Sorry, that diddnt come out right. Ive already cut about 3/4 " past the welds and re welded it. I cut the outside outline of my stock flares.

You can kinda tell what I cut and replaced. I can't find the pic of where I cut right now.
