Surface? I measured inside to inside on the rim at 3 points. 6:00,9:00, and about 3:45-ish (as looking from underneath toward passenger) the front and back measurements were within an 1/8". I've a piece of 2"x2" angle 10' long that I'll use when I get free. Doubt I'll get to it before the end of June, we start a month-long shutdown at a steel plant tomorrow morning. Hours are gona suck but Monday is double time and I've been on ot this week as of 9:30 this morning. Hell, I'll have money to take it up the street and get it on a machine!! I may even have enough to get my springs and/or lift with tires before winter!!

Oh....surface, you mean square from floor up? I thought about that. I doubt I'll put more than another 200 moles on er before I get er on a pro's rack. I eyeballed because it was HORRIBLE and anything is better than what it was. It is better than its been in 9 years! Which is the date stamp on the sticker on the replacement brackets used to repair the wreck damage. The fender, driver door and bumper brackets are all new-er. She was wrecked.... now she's comin to life.

Can't imagine how many tires she went through! It has 184,000 miles, ffs!

Good, now that you are back.....

What's the best masking tape for vehicle? I know regular-Ole masking tape will leave a raised shelf of paint. I'm just covering up old gold lower two-tone under the door molding. Not expected to be 100% permanent but don't want that pesky separation line. Make sense??

Oh, welcome back, btw...

Any and every tape will leave that ledge because of the thickness of the paint being applied, I use the green 3m stuff most of the time, it doesn't leave residue

That's what I use. Personally I like the little edge it leaves it makes the line look crisp.

I bent my drill bit so I haven't made any progress on the jeep. I think I just might put the stock track bar back on and finish the rear just so I can drive it around. You with Bezerks or what ever its called?
