It was "1998 Cherokee 4x4 4.0 auto, runs good, 4x4 works, but need gone this weekend, looking for $700 or offer"
Not a very good description, but from the one picture that was taken at night so it was hard to see, it looks pretty good.
I did call on it, and it was the wrong number, and then new posting came up from the persons whose number it actually was saying to delete that post because it had the wrong number haha.

$700 ZJ needing a tranny could be a great deal, any rust or motor issues?
My buddy with the little audi traded it last night, he got a 96 Dodge Ram 3500 ext. cab dually 4x4 12V Cummins NP4500 tranny, has some mods, upgraded turbo, intake, downpipe back exhaust to huge 6" stacks, 4" lift on 35s, this thing is huge!
His Audi was starting to have turbo issues, but the guy wanted to replace the turbo anyways, so it worked out.

It does need a few little things though, mostly a good cleaning, the windshield has a crack, but we found a replacement for $60 we may be picking up, swapped stereos between the Audi and truck since the guy had an in-dash tv unit he wanted to keep and my buddy loves Alpine so he wanted his alpine deck anyways.
And I will snap some pictures tomorrow of it!

Scrap yard is usually like $300-400 for a car (atleast thats the only price I have been told) but I would assume a truck would go for a little more.
If its got some usual parts, I would just list it on CL for $1000 and see what happens. Or better yet, list it for trade for a XJ!

I could go add trade too!!
And when I say scrap yard I dont mean junk yard, I mean .11+ cents a pound scrap metal! HAHA Even if I have to cut it up! Get some friends over and go to town!

Talking to my dad today, he got the Jeep running. Its not technically done, and won't be in time for Thanksgiving though...
I am hoping like the following week or so after he has been driving it for at least a week and knows its sound, I can have my buddy or sister take me to meet him halfway with it and have his GF follow him to take him home!
