Yea I think it goes like this

Example:

235/75/15

235x.75 = sidewall height. (Sh)

So sh x 2 + rim size = tire height.

In this case about 29"

My tires are 235/85/16

So...235 x .85 = 199.75mm

199.75 x 2(2 sidewalls) = 399.5 km

Rim is 16" so 16×25.4 = 406.40mm

Sidewalls 399.5 + rim 406.40 = 805.9 mm

805.9 ÷ 25.4 = 31.72"
