Shft solenoids do not usually produce slipping. They produce missed shifts.
If it does the same thing manually, its internal.
On another note. SWAYBARS! Ditch them, loosen them, remove them when you get there. You just can not go anywhere with them connected.
I really for the life of my don't know why people still run them???
Anywho........be prepared to disconnect them, whatever, when you get to heiney
I do have a fire extinguisher. It would be nice if someone had another. I don't want to have to buy my third one!!

I got a fire extinguisher so we are covered there. I replaced my cat with a spun metallic cat and it doesn't have any shielding and it gets hot as hell lol.

That is how the cherokee in my video caught on fire. The cat caught the dry leaves on fire then the ground fire caught his fuel line on fire.
Down hill from there.

i coincidentally bought one the other day. just gotta figure out a way to get it mounted one of these days before hand. thinking about just mounting it on the side where the spare would have went. i think all thats left is to find a way to mount the cb and see if i can find a different place to mount the antennae. for now its on the plastic bumper cap on the rear, but i may try to move it up front on the bumper and run my coax through the engine bay. i want to mount the radio itself on the roof, but can't figure out an easy way to get it there without chopping stuff up.

I'm hoping to make it but idk with my tranny. Deff thinking its my solenoids. More specifically #2. It'll go into 1st but has trouble going into 2nd. But once it does go it will go from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd back to 2nd OK but not from 2nd to 1st and 1st to 2nd. And going by solenoid charts that's #2. Since both #1 & #2 are the same and I hear u can order 2 packs offline for around $100 I'll prolly do that. I've found a couple other shift solenoid threads that sound like mine.
IT ONLY HAPPENS WARM.

soleniods do go bad. But rarely in my experience. Its the first thing everyone goes to though because its a hopeful easy fix. More times than not its internal.
Warm because the oil is thinner and its getting past the seals. causing you to lose pressure.
Anyways try some lucas additive, its not too much and may buy you some time.
