Need a little advice:
I currently have a bad rear pinion bearing, causing pretty loud noise. Is it more cost effective to find a whole new good 8.25 rear axle and swap myself or have it fixed? I don't believe it's something I'd like to tackle myself.

I looked at a Sport before buying my RRA. They aren't bad but there are better deals out there. My dad and brother both have M400 and for the price they are hard to beat.

I wouldn't get the M&P 15 sport. No forward assist and you don't get a lot of features for the price. You can pick up a Sig Sauer M400 for pretty close to the same price (walmart has them). They were around $800 and came with magpul furniture and a case for that price. They also have a 1:7 twist, a chrome lined barrel, a forward assist, and built in harness points (all features missing on the M&P 15 Sport).

(Keep in mind I'm only 18 and this will be a recreational and maybe. Just maybe a coyote gun? and this will only be my second firearm purchase)

If I am the only person that feels this way, never mind. I will remain silent

I was thinking about building a lock box for the back of my jeep to put my guns into. Anyone done this?

I have seen people build drawers in back to keep shotguns and rifles. I don't know how secure they would be.
