Ah... I wanna go somewhere soon... Im going to afganistan now and start training the 26th... Would like to wheel before I go but not lookin good... Lol... To much to do... I got my XJ's front axle gutted for gears I was gonna take my time and do/learn myself but at this point I need to find a friend I can just pay to come out and do it... Know anyone local that wants to make a couple three hundred bucks? I dont have a press but I have the full kit for bearing removal... Would just need a press to put on the final new bearings...

I'm sorry to see that you lost a hand in the ordeal. At least it wasn't your right hand.

Did you not buy your axles from Chuck, before you bought the red Jeep? I know you were wanting the drive shafts and steering stuff. I might know someone that will set the gears, but only if you pull the axle. I know I won't do a set of D60 gears with the axle under one, to much of a pain to put the heavy a$$ carrier in and out if you have the proper pre-load. Hell I won't set D30 gears under a Jeep, guess I am getting old.
I dont have time to pull axles and all that mess... I had a buddy come over yesterday and look... Thing I gutted it with no case spreader... Got to lookin and it had 4.10 gears instead of 3.73 like the tag said... I thinking someone did it and didnt know what theybwere doing... Led to shearing a tooth at the base and then busted the pinion at the neck down... there are shims on it but I dont think its even going to be a good starting point... I just dont have the time to deal with this crap... Or id do it myself... Lol

Some Georgia redneck called me this morning wanting to know if I'd trade some 65 CJ5 stock wheels for my 33's... wtf. They won't even fit my Jeep.

I'll be in Helen Ga this weekend. That's the best I can do until next year.
