Chromos are in. Passenger side seal must be pretty bad, basically slid right in and the drivers you could feel it seat a little better.

Is there anyway to clear out the axle tubes? The PO of this axle had a lot of mud in there...

I welded a 1" fender washer the end of a piece of all thread. Basically used it as a shovel. That or you can pull the carrier out, pull the seal (Which it sounds like you need to do anyways) then cram a rag in there and push it out the end with something long.

Hmm that should work. I haven't leaked anymore fluid out of the passenger side but a good bit came out when I changed the drivers side shaft. I'll pull the carrier, install locker, so seals and new unit bearings on day.

Flush it out with break fluid or something.
Replacing the seal sounds like it'd be a good idea.

Just got a 7k offer on the xj lol
