If you pass I may take it. I wanted one a little bigger but if price is right I may take it.

so the heep is overheating. It's not ridiculously hot, but enough I can smell it when I get out. It also accelerates on it own, I shifted to neutral and it revved to 3.5k and I shut it off.
I have had this problem in the past and topping the radiator fixed it. 3-4 days ago i drained the watwr cause its been rusty and im trying to get it ou. i have topped off the water this morning, and it still happening!

I hope you are topping it off with the correct dilution of antifreeze & water, not just straight water.

The high rev sounds like a bad tps.

Side note:
I can do a Jeep Fest only special. Picked up in Jasper for $130:

You can run just distilled water in the sumer antifreeze/water for winter. I know a lot of hotrod guys that run just distilled water in the summer months.

If you want to take a chance & destroy your engine, have at it. I have never heard of using it.

Plain or distilled, in my book- temp. fix.

Yeah the water pump needs the lubrication and additives in the antifreeze. Why not spend the $10 for it?

I have it but when I got the jeep it had a rusted out freeze plug and rust all in the motor and was just **** brown. I was trying to get it out and then add the antifreeze. I guess Im fixing to drain the radiator again, and add the anti freeze. Think that will solve my problem?

whats a TPS? and it only revs this way when its over heating.

There's no problem with using water in the summer. It actually cools aka displaces heat better than antifreeze. Just better not forget to put some antifreeze in when it gets cold.

Easy fix, fill it up with water. I drained it tonight and flushed all the hoses. More and more nasty ****. But when I drained it maybe a quart of water came out. Must have a leak somewhere. Anyway added antifreeze, and topped with water.
