If you look at it that way you have already failed at your marriage.
There are tons of jeeps out there, but if you are saying you love and care for your future wife enough to marry her then you are saying there is only one of her.
I don't agree with going into any type of debt for a wedding, but sacrifice shows your heart.

I don't believe in going into debt for a wedding either.
Sure, the Jeep can be replaced. I just don't see the point in selling off stuff to pay for some big spendy wedding. You'll spend even more money in the long run that way anyway.
I guess I was just lucky. My wife shares my point of view on the whole wedding thing. We generally laugh pretty hard at people that spend enough money on a wedding to put a 20% down payment on a house.
It don't really matter. He was going to sell it anyway.

Do what you feel is right, and also remember the wedding is more for her and not for you. I commend you for selling your jeep. This is the start of a joining of hearts (sorry to be so cheesy) and you should make it special and sacrifice personal items to show her you care.
Now back to jeeps...xj88 what are the specs on the cherokee?

I think I just broke EVERY rule in four wheeling.
1st, always tell somebody where and when you are going.
oops, didn't do that, it was spur of the moment
2nd, at least take basic tools - duck tape, zip ties, pliers, screw drivers
Oops , no tools
3rd always take recovery gear. Straps, chain, hi lift ,etc
Oops again
4th, make sure all your fluids are topped
this includes windshield wiper fluid, forgot that.
5th, make sure your 4wd works.
Dang, I knew I forgot to fix a vacuum leak some place, at least AC works
But the most important rule I didn't forget
Have fun. Me and my boy had a blast.
ill post pics later. We went deep, covered the 33's.
2wd for the win. Lol!
