By the way, anyone with a .edu email address from a Georgia college/university/tech school... if you go to freshmenofga.com and fill out the survey they email you a $25 Amazon gift card. No gimmicks. As long as you're a freshman (male) in college you qualify.

I am gonna pick it up. I drove home the other night at 3am and forgot my contacts.. it was pouring rain and I didn't realize how bad my headlights were until that moment. like somebody else said... it was like driving by candle-light. I just have to sell some stuff first.

U want some other parts for that 30? I haven't taken mine apart yet but I think I killed the pinion teeth...

It's not just the harness.. my harness is factory and I got glass housings that run a H4 bulb... huge difference alone... then I got HID's... I'm gonna sell them though... love them but I'm trying to clean up all my wiring in the comanche and just want to eliminate any I can... The silver star H4 bulbs worked fine for what I wanted...

Oh yeah, I know... I just can't afford the cash to do it all at once and the harness is the cheapest thing out of the whole upgrade set, so I figured I may as well knock it out first before getting housings/bulbs.

Been running the HID'S over a year and never a problem for the record... people freak out about everything because the Internet tells them to...

Kinda like "don't lock a dana 30 with stock shafts on 35's or you'll break them on command"... ya ok... hadn't broke no shaft and beat the **** out of it... I did probly kill pinion teeth but If that's what happened it's my own fault from the locker install... lol

IMO, there's just as much improvement, if not more, with the harness than there was with the H4 Conversion housings. Plus, you kinda need the harness with the higher wattage bulbs.

Now that I'm ordering the LED headlights I won't really need the harness anymore.

Nothing wrong with HID's I just hated the pattern. Probably the cheap housings they were in.

i had hids when i bought my jeep but it was a night mare trying to figure out what the owner before me had crapped together. After finding two blown fuses a burnt ground wire and mud packed in ever crevis i took it all out and put in siverstars for simplicity. And all these foggy mornings i realise i need to upgrade.I want to try the putco harness.Does it plug in the factory harnesses or do you remove the factory wires?only $26.00 cant go wrong i guess
