Any Georgians?

I here that. I left the job site off 10th St at GA Tech at noon and the drive home to Tyrone took about 5 hours. Granted I did spend about an hour and half of that time pulling three people out of the ditches on back roads between Union City and Tyrone.

I was one of the original members, joined like 3 months after the start up, I did trail ride organizing for almost 3 years, had a little help but actually hit more rides during that time than most of the other guys. When they decided to do the CORE crap, they (Matt) talked me into getting a few friends to commit to doing TRO with me and selling the idea of becoming a Paid Club. After 1 full year, we did the GAyTR Fest. at Mountainside, all of a sudden Danny and the Ballsouth crew decided to show up at a ride (they had only been on a few before that one) a few weeks later it was announced that Danny had bought $$$ GAyTR, Matt nor Adam ever offered to let a few of us that actually helped grow it to what it was the opportunity to buy the rights. It really pissed me off, I was not the only one that had invested so much of their personal time to grow it, but I was more offended than some of the others. Danny approached me about staying on staff, but I had already started www.midgaoffroad.com and a few folks that followed me had blasted Ballsouth and he was kind of pissed about it, he wanted me to censor what was being said about them and the quality of their work but I refused to censor, so in turn I got banned. No hard feelings to the most, I have a few friends that are still on staff, but to me the base for the club as being a free and fun club was lost when it was bought out by a sub par off road shop, it was/is a awesome business venture for Danny and Jeremy getting newbies joining to come and spend money at their shop, but it was a lost cause for me. I took my ball and went to another park, www.midgaoffroad.com we are still working out our stuff, and have tried to not be so picky and such stickler to BS rules and ride posting, we only truly set a few rides a year, and try to get folks to just post up and get rides going so as to not be so formal... We do this for fun. I know I have rambled on in this and some stuff is better told around a campfire, so take it for what it is, my motto is "We just want to ride"

Gotcha. Yeah, I heard a lot of **** went down once Danny bought it. I don't really have a problem with anyone there, but I'm also not the biggest fan of Danny or Doug. I don't have the money to compete with whatever they can do, and god forbid I have a cheap XJ lol. I just hang out with the friends I like and wheel with them.

So my jeep is VERY close to completion. Just have to paint some parts, install my new seats, get it running perfect, etc. Small things. But I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a trail ride sometime soon
