A buddy of mine just got an 89 xj in a trade. Brand new motor. Only thing is it's 2wd. He's going to give it to me if I do some welding for him. So after next weekend I'll have a turn key runner! Going to swap all of my parts onto it

Should do nicely! I can't decide if I want to chop the top on the new one or not though. I love the look, but may wait until some body damage first

I really want to chop mine, but I think I will regret it once winter gets here.

This chopped enough?? It's getting caged right now. It will look totally different. It's a cobbled mess in these pics. I just unloaded from the trailer and took a pic.

Just do you a internal cage that a YJ or TJ trail Jammer will work on, I run one in the winter and it makes it like a little cab truck, lots of heat.

Think I fixed my suspension bug but can't test it cause I snapped a high pressure valve stem off in my air shock... was tightening it and I'm super strong I guess lol... course it's online order only... damnit!!

That's what I was going to do. I really need a trailer though.
