I can't go to Jeepfest. Gulches it is.
I am starting to get tired of the morons on the GA Jeepers FB page. I'm sure the guys who started the group are nice and all that, but I can only stand reading so many illiterate sentences and posts about illegal wheeling. They need to crack down on the people who associate themselves with GA Jeepers.
I don't have time for politics and baby back *****ing, I just want to go ride with people who aren't afraid to wheel their rigs. I don't mind the noobs, everyone has to start somewhere, but the attitudes and ricketyness of people irritate me on the trails. Now that I don't have as many free weekends or days to go wheeling I'll have even less of a tolerance.
I have good friends from CF, NAXJA, GATR, and I'll even talk to some yota people. I could care less who your club is and why they are better, I just like to ride with decent and non ******* people. (I haven't ridden with MGO yet because I think I am the only non one ton rig on the site ) and my schedule is super gay... At least I will have money for the Jeep and it will be ready when I am.

I wish I would have wheeled with Glenn, Jim, Doug and the rest of those guys at the Crawl. That's the plan for next year.

twra Land is off limits, there are signs posted in the restricted areas. Today turned into a **** storm. Everybody broke except me. My buddy broke a u joint and Junked the axle shaft while he was at it, another dude nose dived into a big rut and busted his radiator, and ****ed up his front end beyond repair. Another guy had electrical issues. We were on our way off at like 3:00 pm and just now got off.

Yee haw huh?
Ive been going up on aetna about 1-2x a week..but I wheel with only folks I know have confidence in their rigs and folks that I know can repair rather quickly if need be.
Have you ever rode the creek bed trail? The entrance to it is behind the hill where everyone stands overlooking the PB hole? Holy jeebus, rough trail for sure...Managed to teter the jeep up on 2 wheels and use a tree along my roof line to keep me from tipping. This tall skinny sum*****!

Problem is all those people joined when GJ made the news in the ice storm... I only comment with those I knew before that mess... The forum is WAY different... so many kids with mall crawlers joined the GJ facebook page to the point it couldn't take any more members... The forum and actual page is where it's at... everyone's on frickin facebook...

I have some guys wanting to go back up there, it's been a few years. PB hole open to the public?
Went to Dodd Rd. yesterday & it was awesome. My little co-driver.

That all the travel it has or is that under torque lift?
Place looks neat, just not worth the drive for me.
There is that group on FB called Georgia Who's Riding Where? And they go hit the same Bell, Dodd, Charlies, Dicks, Trey every weekend. They don't like to be called out for illegal wheeling on other roads and don't like to be confronted about taking huge groups of Jeeps up these roads every single weekend which isnt great for the land.
