Morning school is so much different than night school. At night I could do whatever I wanted and dick off, in the mornings the head of the Electronics department head is here and gives lectures on stuff and is more over bearing. That's good because he is incredibly smart and can teach me anything I would ever need to know, but I miss the other teacher who would just let me do whatever. Lol.

That is kinda how it is at work too, but 1st shift will always be busier because the big bosses are there.
My F'ing DD loses power to the gauge cluster but doesn't blow a fuse. It's like a bad connection at the fuse block or somewhere.

Not a terrible deal for a 1-ton XJ. I figure some of you might know this guy?
I'm still not so sure how I feel about using the OEM LCA mount for spring hangers.

Big jerm? I know of him just haven't met him. I'm pretty sure Mark knows him. I think if I was going to leaf the front I would at least plate the frame and add a leaf hanger from ruffstuff.

its plenty strong... figure that link used to hold basically all the weight and road force with links... the uppers dont really do a lot but keep the axle from rotating... then you have the front leaf mount all steel as well splitting the weight... they aint going anywhere... i would be more worried on a WJ... way less metal on the control arm mounts

Because my Jeep is in your pictures, of course.Yes, Will is right, I am good friends with Jerm, I have been wheeling with that Jeep since it was nearly stock, I actually found the Snowfighter and helped get it that the 60's came out of. I am good friends with all 3 guys that have owned that Jeep over the last 8 or 10 years. I actually wheeled with Jerm and that Jeep last Saturday, it did great, as usual. My last 2 XJ's have been on tons and leaf springs, they may not flex like a coil over, but they are very stable and real predictable off road. The front has been plated some, but I agree it could use HD stiffies through the rest of it. It has a nice 1.75" internal cage so that stops some of the flex. The hydraulic assist takes some load off of the drivers side unibody, (I modified the steering box) me personally I would full hydro it and beat it like a step child. I can probably answer most questions about the rig better than Jerm seeing as I have helped on it for years.

Well, I smell like smoke now.
Just got back to work from helping with my in-law's house fire. That was interesting.
Lost one whole room, lots of water and smoke damage...
