Anyone have some ideas? I am trying to emulate this:
http://www.boostwerksengineering.com...Kit-_p_23.html
I can get the bearing for $11 and just need to do something for the sector shaft nut. I don't know the thread pitch yet, but if it is too small I can't turn it down enough to have a thick enough wall. And locally I can't get 1 or 1-1/4" DOM because they're either out and I'd have to order a whole stick or what they do have is 16 gauge.

I found that bearing online for $11, which is cheaper than the price work pays for them. I have access to a lathe to make a nut but don't know what to start with and don't want to buy a 7/8-14 tap. I tried to call yesterday but no one answered.

81-91 Chevrolet also ran this case. It's chain driven and not that great from my 2 minutes of research on it.

$20.00 - Steel, material for nut, etc
$20.00 - Tap
$100 - Labor
We're already at $151 and that's the friends and family discount.

Says 2C8 I promise lol... 88 they went to passenger side 241 with the IFS... and 81 to 88 they were passenger side drop 205 and 208s... and many years before that... This 208 is drivers drop... only like 8 years of FSJs had them...

The sides match the rear bumper so I guess they look like a pair. I'm not thrilled with how the sides came out, but it's alright I guess. I might go back and add a piece from the bottom of the 7" channel to the top of the corner.
It just looks huge.

You need to tie the outermost side pieces back to the frame brackets. Do it now before you run into anything. Ask me how I know.

I'd run another smaller tube from the middle of that tube out to the small wing pointing back. I bent mine up into the fender the first rock it hit.
