I'd cut a half inch off the bottom of all 4 doors and roll with it.

Sorry I hadn't been here man... yes that's a good deal... The amount of labor alone Is worth that... lol... damn cast takes forever to cut off and a **** ton of blades... The holes on the inner C that are threaded are where the super duty coil sling mounts bolt to... look at mine and you'll see how I attached my ORIs... plenty strong and very easy... Also cheap compared to buying buckets and all for coils... I recommend ORI's or coil overs... Also it's 35 spline inner and outer shafts... 1/2 in thick tubes... 1.5in thick shafts stock... it's very stout... If u need a 10.50 to match let me know... I'll see what kinda deal I can work out...

Any Georgians?
I really want to do boatsides like that NAXJA thread we talked about. I'll have to trim it for the time being.
thanks man, I bought it. I've got a 14 bolt, but I'd really like to not double drill anything, so I may just buy a 10.50 and keep the 14 bolt for the next time around. Let me know if you come across a stupid good deal on one. I saw your posts in the superduty 60 thread on pirate. I'm gonna do the coilover tabs the same as yours. The cast is already notched on the drivers side tube on mine too, so that's a huge plus.
Send the unit bearings off to be RE drilled 8x6.5 and run H2 wheels to keep from being 90' wide.
14 bolts are stupid strong with stock shafts. Slap some gears in it, weld the carrier, disc brake it, and wheel it.
Well, I would want to shave mine if I were going to run a 14b. I'd put it in the mill at work and chop the housing and turn the ring gear down in the lathe. So I'd have a bunch of man hours in it. Maybe a 10.50 is a better option since it'd be less labor intensive in a way. How big is the housing?

How much is it to have unit bearings and brakes drilled? A 10.50 is probably going to be easier. How much do you want for the 14b? Disc's, gears, carrier? I've got this 60 in my garage but I'm sorta interested.

im gonna hang on to the 14 bolt. I will use it some day, and it's probably the only one I'll ever get for free. And I don't know about the double drilling price.
