Make sure your pulleys are tight... i forgot to tighten the fan pulley after removing the fan once and it was knocking just like a dang low end knock... i was pissed... lol... also many 4.0s have a low end knock and still go forever... run it till it dies...

It's knocking with no belt on it. Definitely not a accessory.

A knock greatly reduces my resale value. I need the best resale value I can get it since I planned to fix and flip this one.

Not sure about cartersville. Only real places I know of is CSC in cave springs that builds buggies, bouncers, and mud trucks. Then there is SBC in Gwinnett or somewhere near there.

Does anyone here ever ride in Helen GA? specifically the forestry service road at the Raven Cliff Trail head?

Looking to go up with a couple jeepers

I have downloaded all three forestry service road maps for the entire Chattahoochee National Forest. Google Forestry Service road maps Chattahoochee national forest in Georgia. it will take you to the forestry page and there will be three links to choose from

I haven't been that particular road but I rode around on a few roads in Hiawassee last month. I HIGHLY suggest Shake Rag Rd. It's 20 minutes from Helen. It's an easy dirt road with 1 washed out spot that has a bypass and one rocky spot that's about 100 yards from the end. If you don't want to do the rocky section you can park on the side and walk the rest of the way. I had no issue getting up it in my DD Jeep on 31's open/open.

This is the entrance to the road:

34.937326, -83.739172

This is your destination.

34.959578, -83.729412

Just keep going up on Shake Rag Rd.

Here's the view from the top.

Damn dewd, that's a nice view, one of the nicest I have seen. I am definitely going to check this out this weekend for a test drive to test out my distributer pick up I have to put in. keeping the fingers crossed, I want my jeep back!

you got any good tire or shock suggestion? my jeep is my daily driver, I want a little bit bigger of a tire and a better shock, what would be good for road and trail driving that wont get worn too quickly and something that wont completely kill my gas mileage
