Also since you guys are trailer savy. Even though this isn't a trailer. I had borrowed this dolley to haul a new toy home.
Last night I wired in a brake controller into the Zj. So I went on a test drive to see if the brakes and all worked.
Good news: lights and brakes worked great.
Bad news: someone ran up onto the dolley at a stoplight and got the f out of there. It screwed up the top plate pretty bad. I was thinking just unhook it flipped it over and try to bend it with a high lift and the weight of a vehicle.

Can't have the whole Jeep...
Dang, that sucks! It's going to be tough getting that one straight again. (I have the same dolly.)

I borrowed it from my old scout master, I haven't told him yet. Figure I'll try and fix it first. After that, I am not towing with it.

I don't exactly understand how it goes together because I've never used one. Looks like a heavy gauge metal, gonna be tough to get straight again, even so someone will notice it isn't perfect. Not sure what to tell you.
I like welding: Almost everything on the tube is triple pass. The huge welds are from when my welder was freaking out yesterday.

All 7/8 heims from Barnes. Upper and track bar are 5/8" bolts and the steering is 3/4" bolts since the knuckles were already larger than 5/8".
Tie Rod needs a bend in it to clear the diff, other than that it's gonna be sweet.

I wish Kevin Davis would respond to me. I don't want to have to pay $1600 for tires new and he has the exact tire and size I want. I just need him to upgrade.
Thinking about trying to get my tires and driveshaft on the 17th this month since I'll be up that way.
