Also since you guys are trailer savy. Even though this isn't a trailer. I had borrowed this dolley to haul a new toy home.

Last night I wired in a brake controller into the Zj. So I went on a test drive to see if the brakes and all worked.

Good news: lights and brakes worked great.

Bad news: someone ran up onto the dolley at a stoplight and got the f out of there. It screwed up the top plate pretty bad. I was thinking just unhook it flipped it over and try to bend it with a high lift and the weight of a vehicle.

Can't have the whole Jeep...

Dang, that sucks! It's going to be tough getting that one straight again. (I have the same dolly.)

This is the first dolley I've used where the swivel doesn't lock into place.

I borrowed it from my old scout master, I haven't told him yet. Figure I'll try and fix it first. After that, I am not towing with it.

I don't exactly understand how it goes together because I've never used one. Looks like a heavy gauge metal, gonna be tough to get straight again, even so someone will notice it isn't perfect. Not sure what to tell you.

I like welding: Any Georgians?-image-2088901115.jpg Almost everything on the tube is triple pass. The huge welds are from when my welder was freaking out yesterday.

Another pic since my phone will only post one photo per post.

Depending on how low it ends up and the uptravel I might have to shave the top hole of the upper mount off to clear the transmission lines and side of the oil pan.

What TRE's are you gonna run? Heims? What size?

I'm interested in dumping my Currie setup because I am at the limit as far as height.

All 7/8 heims from Barnes. Upper and track bar are 5/8" bolts and the steering is 3/4" bolts since the knuckles were already larger than 5/8".

Tie Rod needs a bend in it to clear the diff, other than that it's gonna be sweet.

It's got 300k miles on it and is priced high but here's another unicorn Jeep for your guys.

99, 2dr, 4.0, Manual, 4wd.

Unfortunately, no pictures.

I wish Kevin Davis would respond to me. I don't want to have to pay $1600 for tires new and he has the exact tire and size I want. I just need him to upgrade.

Thinking about trying to get my tires and driveshaft on the 17th this month since I'll be up that way.
