comin' along real good man.... lol, I forgot how red that alabama clay is... I love how your whole jeep is red from it except for the grill... makes it look like a textured paint job or something.

Great Job! Just saw a similar wagoneer today at the wrecking yard. Straight rust free body. Interior was pretty well messed up. I would have taken the four light grille had it not been broken. I just think the chrome and slots look cool and different. Enjoy your project.

Default Wagoneer vs. Cherokee

Hey Stryker,

I have had an '88 Wagoneer for about 1.5 yrs now after running an '87 Cherokee into the ground. I was wondering if you had any information on what makes the Wagoneer different from the Cherokee. Mine is also the Limited edition, looks just like yours. Any idea of what makes this model special? (besides all the power accessories).

Also, I was looking to grab a shop manual off the pacificcoastmanuals.com website that someone on here recommended. I see that there is a single manual specifically for the jeeps made in '88. Any thoughts on why that may be?

Any info is appreciated

Thanks

Hello Styker, hope all is going well! I have the same exact tan 87 waggy also and I read through this thread a few days ago. I noticed you lifted yours as well and I am doing the same to mine. I have lifted it around 4-5 inches and I was wondering if you did a t-case drop on yours? Or anybody else on here know anything about that? Thanks.
