I'm down to get this Big Cypress trail ride going. My luck, they'd fail the XJ.

I wouldn't mind just riding just for scenery I know it's all goingto be trees but just looking at all inner city building and houses just sucks when you can just enjoy nature....

Do loop road a lot closer...Scenic Byway - Everglades Loop Road, Florida - YouTube
Loop Road was great but there was a surprising amount of traffic. I'd like to go back at night though.
Edit: Man, these things seem expensive. I mean, it goes to a fantastic cause but $100 is a bit much.

Last time we went on loop there were tons of cars and bikers. The first time we went there the dirt road was flooded, we went bypassed the barricades, and were the only ones out there when this pic was taken. There's a biker dude that has an "outpost" that takes donations for beer, hotdogs, etc and let's people hangout and take a break. He also photos ladies "el natural" there during the week. He posts regulary Loop road's condition on his FB page search "Lucky Cole".

I did that yesterday. Saw some gators and a lot avian wildlife but I gotta go with 88 on this one - the ORV trails seem so much more secluded.

If I'm going to drop $100 for a permit, I'm going once a weekend.
