This thing vibrates when the brakes are applied and continues to do so at a stop like the ABS motor it cycling them. Clarify vibrating? Brake pedal ,Transfercase or motor ? Did they use scanner on brakes ?

I should of said pulsation throughout the entire vehicle not a vibration. No they didn't use a scan tool, it's got plenty of pedal and feels fine getting on the binders until around 10mph and stopped it starts the rythymic pulsation sensation. Maybe I should install a disco ball and strobe lights.

I just found out they didn't replace the rotors when they replaced both seized calipers out back, though I don't see how this would cause the pulsation while at a stop.

It wont remove abs fuse bet it stops . Sounds like pumps running trying to expel trapped air .

Could it be a warped rotor?
Since they didn't replace the rotors while replacing the calipers?

Great, I'll pull the fuse the next opportunity I get.

After some reseach it seems this has the viscous coupled NP249 transfer case. I guess it has friction discs like a posi and probably requires the right friction modifier to prevent "posi chatter".The interweb tells me it takes Type7176 fluid Mopar ATF3, which has beed superceded to Mopar ATF4. I'm thinking I should get factory recommended transfer case fluid from a dealership for a couple bucks more, pack the slip yoke with grease on the front shaft (if it has one), and retry it in full time 4wd.

Hey morning! Do you have a charter captain that makes all sorts of noise loading and getting his boated started every morning at 5:30 AM too? Ah the smell of diesel smoke intertwined with Folgers is magical.
