In advance of the headliner being out we might run backup camera & power wires for a overhead console mounted video monitor. A forum member has these ZJ hooks for sale that look slightly tweaked. Think they can be straightened out on 20 ton press and maybe a little massaging with anvil & sledge hammer?
These are not real strong any way more tow than recovery. Butt deff better than nothing.

Gotta be carful with their wording . That might not include anything from backing plates out.

Sounds like contact issue maybe wiggle that connection when its running like stated above. Then go get a refund from that mechanic Monday.

Also take chisel and hammer or battery drill and bits to remove nut strips after you remove bumper .

98 also has a 35 ? Just get the carrier with ring and pinion with all the shims and parts to stick it in your housing save about 50% on price.

The higher you go up in gear ratio, the more and finer teeth gears it will need to have. A 4.10 is gonna be weaker than a 3.55 in the D35. A larger ring gear diameter like 8.25 or an Exploder 8.8 will have beefier teeth. A locker is gonna work that R&P more than an open diff.If you go with the 8.25, there's more and cheaper lockers available for the 29 spline if you add a locker later.

Ok not a bad idea...I have a question when you Guys say 29 spline you guys mean the spline count in the axle shafts correct?
