So its not a ground problem or sensor problem then?... I guess ill have to check out the wire and the connections?

Yep there also ava on line but factory ones are deff better in my opinion. There a small rivet on frame that holds them in place . So sharp chisel and hammer or cordless drill with bits is a must ,

Go back a few inchs and expose some bare wire then ground it there to eliminate the connection being the issue .

If you are considering a gastank skid in the future, this would be the time to get a ZJ skid at the boneyard and install it when you do the hitch.
