Mine being an auto is the only thing I dislike about it I'm looking into dropping a manual into it

At least the AW4 is a good automatic. A manual trans swap is costly but if you're really itching to pedal dance, I understand. When I was shopping for an XJ last year, I was looking for an AW4 NP242 model but stumbled upon the one I ended up buying mainly because I wanted a manual XJ since I was 15. They really are fun.

Yeah...I wish I would've gotten a manual cherokee but I traded my gmc truck for it and can't complain plus it's been reliable when the comanche was done for a few weeks except for it shutting off that last outing...if I were to buy one is truly look into a manual(ax15) and 2 door
