Just remember, you build, you break, you fix and you repeat. Modified Jeep life is life but it's not without its headaches.

If mine was an automatic, it would still be stock.

The price was about $300 with the exchange rate, but I had to ship it in a shipping container that had room to spare. It took about 3 months to find a partial container with vacant space.

Mine being an auto is the only thing I dislike about it I'm looking into dropping a manual into it

At least the AW4 is a good automatic. A manual trans swap is costly but if you're really itching to pedal dance, I understand. When I was shopping for an XJ last year, I was looking for an AW4 NP242 model but stumbled upon the one I ended up buying mainly because I wanted a manual XJ since I was 15. They really are fun.

All else fails I'll just buy a manual one and make a Race XJ out of it that would be pretty raw

Yeah...I wish I would've gotten a manual cherokee but I traded my gmc truck for it and can't complain plus it's been reliable when the comanche was done for a few weeks except for it shutting off that last outing...if I were to buy one is truly look into a manual(ax15) and 2 door
