I saw a taco on 44s yesterday when I was fishing it was kinda rediclious like how can that little engine even roll those things

It's all in the gearing. Take the original VW Bugs for instance, they would zip all over the place with only 40-50hp. That's why properly gearing your axles is emphasized so much around here.

You can get by with your 3.55s - 88 does on Workhorse.

Ideally, 4:10s would be what to get. You can find factory XJ axles with these already, swap axles and insta-regear.

I planned on a regear because it's my daily so I'll do that a couple weeks after my lift and do new diff covers

A regear will definitely help out with power and fuel mileage.

These guys are having a grand opening this Saturday. Anyone want to go? I think I will.

The rear D44 only. I sold my D44 front. I'm only gonna run 31s.
