I say grab the Chevy drop shackles from advance/auto zone/ pep boys for about $20-30....
If you like the height with the stock shackles then just return them back and if not install the drop shackles to the height you want it....

Nope the drop shackles have 2 holes to wether how high you want to go...
Go into google and search Chevy drop shackles...in the first hold raises the truck about a 1" and the sec. Hole 2"....
