WELLLLL I have not been on here in AGES! Glad to say that my build went really really well, no hiccups with The Lift install, (took 12 hours) I've already went through one set of tires, cut the fenders, installed an LED Light bar, tire in the roof, a few more things here and there. I've gotta hand it to jeep. The XJ Is one badass rig! Already taken it to lazy springs, I'm apart of an awesome jeep club. Living every minute with my rig! Except for the Gas mileage. Yes that sucks! Anyways here are some pix! Btw, if y'all Don't remember, (wouldn't blame ya! It's been forever!), I installed the Rough Country 4.5 Flex Lift, 33x12.50r15 tires, (rough country has been amazing except for the ****ty shocks and the track bar tie rod, (installing a true Double shear soon! Did my first oil Change after switching to Rotella and holy crap it was dark I'm pretty sure my 4.0 looks like a mirror inside that stuff makes it run so smooths and the oil pressure is always at 20 at idle and at 50 when I'm running and the 5.0 injectors have so far fixed my random misfires and the acceleration is very smooth now and apparently after a couple days it should get better after my computer adjusts fully. Planning to get my lift complete in the next week or so and have it on in a couple weeks I'm pretty excited

I have been loosing coolant, then water cause I was too cheap to keep buying coolant and that's been happening for right around 3-4 months. Small amounts, now it's become to the point where I bed to fill the reservoir every 5 days or so, and I drive a lot.

Anyways I was reading up on coolant contamination in the oil, and where it can be leaking from. So yes now at 4:00am I went, and checked under my oil cap, rubbed a pretty big glob of gunk off if one of the rocker arms..... And that doesn't seem normal for an engine that has less than 15k on it and it's has the oil changed every 3k...

Please please please don't let it be the famous cracked head!

Damn. Never met the guy in person but judging by his fab skills, he'll have a new rig in no time. Sucks to see it go like that though - I hope he's alright.

Nice! The injector mod is seriously a no brainer considering how easy it is.

You rebuilt the engine right? Did you use the 0331 head with it? Sounds like a head gasket leak or cracked head. Is it trying to overheat?

Yeah, more than a few members have expressed concerns about him. I was just patient and he was super cool about it. He even vacuum sealed the injectors.

I'm sure there's another guy on here who does similar services.

Yeah I have I idea what it could be I have a million opinions and a million headaches, one says these engines run hot, so the oil is burning n funking up couples with maybe a bad PCV, others say cracked head, oh I'm just sick of it been dealing with it all day with no avail. Anyways, checked the spark plugs to see it is was burning coolant, and nope they were fine, took it out for a but, hit some HUGE puddles, "small street lakes" and BAM! Cyl #6 Missfire. The ***** would not go away. Then it would go, then come back and so on and so on. And now it's at the point where you start it up, it misfires, evens out, I go to drive, it's fine for about 2 blocks, then comes back and so on and so on. It went away for a good 15 mom of driving around wear Kendall, and then it came back, then went away. And so on. Dad says to change the plugs tomorrow. (It has has a Missfire issue when I start it up in the mornings for a WHILE now. Never payed any mind to it.

Soooo dare I say, anyone wanna buy a lifted XJ? I want a JK!!!!!! JK. I love my XJ. But really. JK's are nice. Lol I'm burnt out. GOODNIGHT.
