I prefer strength and quality over affordability but would like to keep it reasonable.
Stock are okay for light pulls. I got a set of Rugged Ridge cheap which mount in the OE location and claim to be stronger than OE. Which ever you get, make sure all the hardware is there.

I have a group that goes wheeling in homestead every single weekend, sometimes we have 15+ jeeps out there! Always family friendly. Then there's another group of crazy Mexicans called the Conejos Locos 4x4 group. They are awesome funny people. The things they do with those Cherokees... Smh but always fun!

Homestead isn't all that bad, never ever have issues with FWC, or police or anything. The hump is awesome!

I nearly tipped over in the parking lot area going through some deep water. Came all the way up to my door and was at a 45 degree angle trying to keep 2 wheels on dry so I didn't get stuck. Without knowing how deep some of these water holes are and no one to guide I didn't want to leave things up to chance. Would be happy to explore the area with a few people next time. Probably going to need to add disconnects too. I couldn't believe how choppy and bumpy it was. It was more like rock crawling for me than anything else. Maybe it's just my setup. I managed to get through one trail and got out to check the water's depth with a stick a few times. Got eaten ALIVE by mosquitoes. Would like to find an area that's a bit smoother.
