Most guys on the forum run 4.5" and 33s with 4.56 gears for dd driving...
But with 6" and 35s 4.88s would be good but depending how heavy your right foot you could be breaking gears faster that you installed them because of how thin the pinion is....
Gary runs 4.10s on 13" of lift and 38s with a 5speed but doesn't run and gun...
Aslong as you cautiously run your truck you don't have to worry about breaking ring and pinion....
You just aint been in any situation with me yet where Ive need to use extreme skinny pedal. I am not afeared ...lol...

Awesome! I have a bunch of **** to pay so I'd rather take money out from the paycheck on the 15th and then take some more money out from the paycheck at the end of the month. But you never said, will it bolt right up to mine since I have a 97+?

What's up fellas
I have a question...need your opinions...
Obviously I've been wanting to put 4.88s in the comanche but should I just stick them into the dana 35?
I know I know 8.25 is better and stronger but I don't wheel my truck that hard and I highly doubt I'll break anything with the 4 angry squirrels....
What do you think?

D35 axles are not as bad as everyone says. As long as you don't hammer the crap outta it and keep your fluids clean. The only problem most have is the spider gears grenade if hammered on constantly and the axle tube can "spin" in the diff housing. Max I'd go on a D35 though is 4.56:1. If set on 4.88:1, find a 8.25 for better peace of mind.
