I haven't had no problem with both the comanche and cherokee...
Sometimes it's a bit annoying when it rains a Nd the puddles you go over splashes the water inside the cab...(no a/c)...

I'll let you in on a few of my interchange/upgrade secrets. Considering I had pistons and rods already, I spent about 400 bucks in machine work. 1st tip, 4.0L pistons and rods are the same as the AMC 2.5L.

I'm going to look at one tomorrow in palm beach but it's already got a 3" lift on it and 31"s that need to be replaced. For what I'm paying for that I'd rather find one for around 2K and do a 4.5" lift, 33's and make sure it's all done properly.

Edit: if any of you guys have friends looking to sell one though I've got cash and I'm hoping to buy one this weekend.

Yeah I've been all over craigslist. Alot of people want a bit more than what their cherokee is worth. If it's got 200K miles on it and the AC doesnt work...I'm not gonna pay 3500 for it lol.

That or alot of these people wont answer their phones or e-mail me back. So many cherokees...so few people ready to take my money.

Oh for sure. But take this one for example. http://miami.craigslist.org/brw/cto/4685037111.html

"75 dollars for an evaporator" She must not know its 100 for the part and a day of work removing the dash and then having someone pull a vacuum on the system and charging it.

Offered the woman 2000 and she seemed extremely insulted.

Edit: also I've got the challenge of getting one of these jeeps home...haha. I'm new to Florida so haven't had a chance to make friends with someone with a truck and trailer. All things in time.

You lost me at 4cyl. I had a YJ with the 2.5 and the poor thing would barely keep highway speeds up hill.
