Spoke them and for prices and I'm looking at about 150-200 for a rebuilt(cut, balance, joints)shaft...
but for them to actually get the job done right...I would have to try and bring the Comanche in....
Now I'm second guessing the sye and might have to try out the shaft from the xj and see if it fits enough to drive over there...

Never had to take a vehicle in to cut a driveshaft at Broward gave them a length and they cut it. Sounds like they wanna sell stuff to me. Install the sye measure and have them do it. Pretty straight forward. You can install joints your self. I think Cracker Jack went there with a good front shaft I gave him. They told him it was shot which was bs he went elsewhere.

Mj jacked up by rear punkin or sitting on its own weight. Pretty simple measure here and deduct half the distance slip yoke travels...If it measures 44 inch and yoke travels 4 inchs you need a 42 inch center to center collapsed lenght shaft.

Gm fellas....
So I'm in the debate....for the comanche
I want to do an sye but the transfer case I have has an internal slip yoke so leaks aren't much of a problem....but measuring for a driveshaft with the stock yoke I'm looking at 43 1/8" and my original shaft is 47 7/8"....
So I would have to cut it 4 6/8"? To fit with the current yoke?

I was guesstimating a cv shaft with the sye....I'm looking at about 48-50" cv shaft..,,

Honestly I am thinking the cheaper option but i know the sye would be better long term...
