South Florida Dysfunctional 4x4s...
Yup. The fender mount one where the coil bolts to it. GM only used it for two years before integrating it with the distributer. I've had them act up so I carry a spare. Besides, there's nothing inside the distributor to go bad on the 2.5L. All ignition and timing is within the ICM or ECU on those.

Id get it warm and start moving wires around simulate movement see if it acts up. Dont forget fuel pump ones.

I have tried that with no ill effects...
I had my dad move everything in the engine bay while I was under the truck moving wires from the fuel pump to the tail lights and trailer harness and no luck of it shutting off...
