Ok, simple items/checks first. 1) what's the condition of the case fluid? Have you changed it yet? 2) Crawl underneath and check/inspect your linkage as they do get "sloppy" over the years.

Hi all, Just wanted to introduce myself to the group! Names Rich, Just bought my first XJ a month ago. Love it so far but she's draining my bank account! To be expected from a XJ i've heard. Anyway, read some of the posts on here in the past month and alot of you have some great knowledge! I'm not much of mechanic but never stopped me from trying to learn and from giving it a go!
